About Laila Dajani
Laila’s first encounter with yoga was a class she attended with her mother in 2002 which sparked up a curiosity in her. Laila began teaching in 2007 yet still felt disconnected somewhat in her own practice until she sat in her first workshop with Sarah Powers in 2009. Since then she has been a part of the Insight Yoga Institute with Sarah and Ty Powers as her primary teachers and is one of their endorsed IYI teachers. She completed her Yin Yoga training with Paul Grilley as well as her Mindfulness Teacher Training with Martin Aylward and Mark Coleman at the Mindfulness Training Institute. Laila is an IFS practitioner having completed trainings in 3 Levels in the psychotherapeutic model, Internal Family Systems Therapy. With a background in Early Years Education she also facilitated Mindfulness trainings at various schools in the Middle East where she used to live. Laila’s intention when working with students and clients is to offer a space to feel and heal using these integrated practices that continue to support her in exploring her own internal navigation system of self investigation and awareness.
